[NOTICE] Development Notes - Armada Base & Royal Armada Improvements

Greetings, Admirals.I am Ja-ram Jeon, the lead producer of Gunship Battle: Total Warfare.From Jet Squadron improvements in February to Armada Strike Group improvements in March, we have consistently been making efforts to enhance the gameplay experience for our players.Today, I am excited to share the news on the upcoming changes that will be applied to the Armada Base and Royal Armada elements in April. Unlike the Royal Armada Base, which has undergone multiple changes over the years, including maximum level expansion and an increase in quantify on the Sea Map, the Armada Base has remained unchanged for a long time.We noticed that the rewards and features of the Armada Base were not linear with player progress, making the interaction with standard Armada Bases feel lackluster, especially when compared to Royal Armada Base encounters. Therefore, we will be making improvements to the standard Armada Base encounters to make the experience more enjoyable for our players. In addition to the Armada Base and Royal Armada changes, we will be making some quality-of-life improvements for other features in-game.Here are the details.[Armada Base Improvements]​Currently, the amount of resources looted from Armada Bases is distributed based on the combat power of the contributing AFVs. As well, static Victory Reward Boxes are obtained.​This results in many players attacking Armada Bases alone rather than rallying with the Alliance members. In order to encourage Alliance members to combine their strength and Rally-up for these attacks, changes will be made to the reward distribution system. With the new update, players will receive increased rewards when more Alliance Members participate in the rally.  ​​​​Special Unlocking Devices will now be included, at random, in the Armada Base rewards. By making this change, we aim to make the use of the Royal Armada Supply Boxes more accessible, supporting the progression of our Admirals. [Armada Base & Royal Armada Improvements]​In alignment with the changes being made above, resources looted from the Armada Base and Royal Armada encounters will no longer be distributed based on the combat power of the contributing AFVs. Instead, looted resources will be distributed, commensurate to the total number of Units used in the Attack.Not only will these changes create an environment that better balances the feeling of resource-risk-reward, but also optimizes incentives for established Armada Base encounters. ​To encourage Admirals to enjoy the improved, established Armada Base encounters even more, Armada Base and the Royal Armada encounters respawn/reset speeds will be increased by 10-20%. Resources available for looting will be reset to MAX as will the Airstrike Cooldown.With these improvements, we aim to make the progression of Armada Bases feel more rewarding and reflect linear achievements for all Admirals.[Other Improvements]​​Alongside the changes in the Armada Base & Royal Armada encounters, the following improvements will be implemented in the April update.◆ Stamina Recharge Method Improvement​Previously, when recharging Stamina, Stamina items had to be used prior to using Gold. With the new update, Admirals will be given the option to choose whether they want to use Gold or Stamina items when recharging Stamina. ◆ Private Chat Improvement​Currently, private chat logs are saved to individual devices, making those logs unavailable if a player logs onto a different device. Going forward, chat logs will be saved on the server and available across all devices.◆ Armada Strike Group Auto Attack Function Improvement​A new, automatic attack feature will be added for use during the Armada Strike Group Bonus Time.We've received numerous suggestions from Admirals across various channels to add an automatic attack function to the Armada Strike Group, and we've carefully considered this feedback.While this feature is still in development and will not be included in the April update, we are committed to implementing it to the game as soon as possible.​​We sincerely hope that all our Admirals will enjoy the April update, and we welcome valuable suggestions for improvements from our community.Thank you!
