Greetings, Admirals! I am the Lead Producer of Gunship Battle: Total Warfare, Ja-ram Jeon.

We are thrilled to see our Admirals enjoying the Armada Base and Royal Fleet improvements implemented through the April update.

In this month’s Development Note, we will share more about the Armada Strike Group Auto Air Strike feature that was briefly mentioned in last month's Development Note.

We are also excited to share details about the Fortress the max level (Wave) expansion, rule changes for the Preseason of World War and much more.

Read on for more information about these exciting changes.

[Addition of the Armada Strike Group Auto Air Strike]

The greatly anticipated and highly requested Auto Air Strike feature for the Armada Strike Group has finally arrived.

From now on, during the Bonus Time that is implemented after completely depleting the Armada Strike Group Durability, Jet Squadrons previously used to Air Strike will be prompted to automatically continue attacking until the end of the Bonus Time. Admirals may tap the Return button to call back deployed Jet Squadrons.

When the Auto Air Strike feature is in use, Jet Squadrons will keep attacking even if you are not logged into the game. Though some find the engaging nature of this feature satisfying, the goal of implementing this automated feature is to reduce the monotony some Admirals experienced during an Armada Strike Group Bonus Time event, while making the overall combat experience more enjoyable.

[Fortress New Max Wave Expansion]

Our team was delighted to know that many Admirals have been enjoying the Fortress game added in the February update.

With most Admirals already having reached the highest Wave, we will be increasing the max Wave for Fortress through the May update.

The max Wave for Fortress will increase from 299 to 499. This won't just be a progressive extension of the existing format. Higher Waves will host more powerful and stronger enemies to defeat.

We encourage our Admirals to endure the onslaught of the enemy and create powerful Turrets to clear and reach the highest Wave!

[World War Preseason Rule Change]

WWL 4.0, which started in March, is finally coming to a glorious conclusion with the Final Ranking Match scheduled for June 1st (UTC).

We would like to thank all Admirals for the passion and concerted efforts they have put into competing in WWL 4.0.

Our team has carefully examined the game data and discussed ways to improve WWL 4.0 to make it even more enjoyable with future iterations.

Hence, we have decided to change the status quo by adding a new way of conquering buildings and adjusting the balance of each building.

This change will be applied after WWL 4.0 is over. Further details about the changes will be provided through a future announcement.

[Chat Emoji Improvement & Personal Chat Rollback]

We have received feedback from some Admirals that due to the amount of emojis in the game, it can be hard to find the one they wish to use at certain times.

To improve this, we will add a feature that displays the emojis you've used most recently at the top of the chat bar. This will allow Admirals to easily access their favorite emojis without having to search for them each time.

Additionally, even though the personal chat feature was improved through an update in April, there have been several issues with personal chats disappearing or old chats showing up as unread or new.

We sincerely apologize for these anomalies that occurred after the update.

Upon reviewing the updated chat system, we realized that more time will be needed to apply a fix for these chat issues as well as doing more to stabilize the overall chat system.

In order to accomplish this, we have decided to perform a rollback, reimplementing the previous version of the personal chat system for the time being. This rollback will be be applied in the upcoming, May update.

As the personal chat feature is a critical communication feature, used by many Admirals for communication, we will be extraordinarily careful when applying changes to this system in future updates.

And with that, we conclude the Development Note for May.

We genuinely value the critical feedback provided by our Admirals and will continue to keep the lines of communication open and listening to our Admirals as best as we can.

We hope you enjoy this month’s updates and continue to enjoy playing Gunship Battle: Total Warfare.
