​We are here to introduce you to a brand-new jet in Gunship Battle: Total Warfare, a jet that symbolizes sacrifice, courage and heroism. 

Introducing the [F-14 Jolly Roger], the jet that propelled the skull-and-crossbones donned F-14 Tomcat to international stardom!​

This unit pays homage to the squadron brought about by the exploits of legendary US Navy pilot, Jack Ernie, and has long since struck fear into the hearts of any enemy reckless enough to square up. 

May 1945 - During a battle over Okinawa, Jack Ernie was attempting to disengage from a flight due to loss of oil pressure. He was jumped by two Japanese Zeros and fought valiantly, even managing to splash one with his crippled Corsair. 

As his F-4U Corsair plunged towards the sea, Ensign Jack Ernie managed to make one last transmission: 'Skipper, I can't get out, remember me with Jolly Rogers.'

And that they did. 

The promise made to Ensign Ernie rings true to this very day. The F-14 Jolly Roger carried out hundreds of combat sorties including combat air patrols and TARPS missions The sorted exploits of Jolly Roger badassery continued to embellish their illustrious legacy by assisting in reconnaissance missions and surveillance operations until the retirement of the F-14 from active duty.

The Jolly Rogers continue a long-standing tradition of 'passing-the-bones' to the new members of the squadron.

With the F-14 Jolly Roger now available in the world of Gunship Battle: Total Warfare, the tradition is now passed onto you, Admirals.

It will undoubtedly become a steadfast ally, bolstering your reputation with its formidable skills.
