[NOTICE] Dev Notes – [Improvements of the F-22 Raptor, ASG & Blitz Defense Rewards, and More!]

Greetings, Admirals!

 

With this Development Note entry, we would like to go over the improvement plans for Legendary F-22 Raptor, Rewards for Blitz Defense and Armada Strike Group content and more!

 

[Improvements being made to the Legendary [F-22 Raptor]]


Jet growth plays a pivotal role in creating an enjoyable experience within Gunship Battle: Total Warfare. With this in mind, we would like to introduce our plans to make improvements to the Legendary F-22 Raptor, an exclusive Jet that is currently only obtainable from Special Supply. 


We will be adding a new range of Special Skills to the F-22 Raptor to ensure the F-22 Raptor truly lives up to its reputation as the most powerful Jet, not only in the world, but in the game.

 

The current specs of the F-22 Raptor were not as good as expected in comparison to other Legendary Jets. That said, we will be making improvements to the overall performance of this jet to truly showcase the full capacity of this Jet.  


The [F-22 Raptor] will undergo the following improvements, and our team is going to make sure that these improvements do not diminish or substitute for the roles existing Jets illustrate, maintaining a well-balanced Jet game meta.

 

Previous: The [Accuracy] of the F-22 Raptor focus is denoted by the Jet’s [Skill III] function.

New: The [Accuracy] of the F-22 Raptor will significantly increase upon [Jet Upgrade], and the [Accuracy Increase] option will be removed from [Skill III].

 

Additionally, we are also planning a [100% Jet Skill Core Rebate Event], in line with the implementation of these changes as this change will impact those who have invested their Resources in upgrading the Skill as previously noted.

[Enhanced Rewards for Armada Strike Group & Blitz Defense]

 

We are improving the Rewards obtained from both the Armada Strike Group and Blitz Defense features to incentivize participation and better foster growth and collaboration with your Alliance members. 

 

The amount of [Ship XP] obtainable from the [Alliance Clear Rewards] for [Blitz Defense] will be significantly increased. Additionally, the quantity of obtainable [1st Class Adv Blueprint] items from [Armada Strike Group] will also be increased.

  

Furthermore, we are weighing how to increase the Individual Damage Rewards to encourage our Admirals to enjoy these features.  


One more thing! ~ To ensure that we are facilitating an environment in which our Admirals continue to grow and make progress, we are actively discussing ways on how to increase the rewards acquired from other in-game features, such as encounters with the Armada.


[Server Transfer Optimization during World War]

We would like to assure our Admirals that we are proactively discussing and planning ways to optimize the Server Transfer process during the World War.  

 

We are working diligently to eliminate delays and other troubles that can occur for those using Server Transfers during the World War. We are constantly observing the core functionality of the server load and the impact this has on the game environment. Adjustments will be made so that we can provide the best gaming environment for our Admirals and will promptly address any anomalies that may arise. 

 

Thus far, we have shared information regarding the updates scheduled for May. Building on that, we would like to briefly go over our tentative update plans for June and beyond. 


[Improvement Plan #1 - Designated Squadrons]

Upon close review of the current [Designated Squadron] feature, we have concluded that even though certain buffs are activated with the specific combination of Jets, to form the Squadron, you must manually select your preferred Jets, forming the respective Squadron to then be able to use them. This action then brings about a cooldown period, which is needlessly time consuming for our Admirals. 


With this in mind, we are planning ways to enhance the use of the Designated Squadron feature. 


Part of this [Designated Squadron] enhancement plan would be to activate Passive Buffs as soon as the preferred Jets are allocated and allowing Admirals to select Active Skills upon deploying the Jets, regardless of the Jets selected for deployment. 

 

By making this change, Admirals won’t experience the impact limitations have on their Jet selection process, allowing a faster and more convenient battle deployment. 


[Improvement Plan #2 – Armada Sub Forces]

 

As our Admirals are familiar, the [Armada Sub Force] feature requires the acquisition and use of the Sonobuoy item. 

In this case, we would greatly appreciate direct feedback from our Admirals: Is the Sub Force feature something you enjoy? We love to hear your suggestions and comments regarding the Sub Force content.

 

[Improvement Plan #3 – World War Pre-Season]

 

As the WWL 2.0 Final Match came to an end, we want briefly to introduce the next ‘Pre-Season’ Event, scheduled to start in June where some new rules will be applied.

 

We are currently exploring different ways to elevate the competition and excitement during [World War] gameplay. One of the options we’re considering is reducing the duration of the World War to add a level of urgency by creating a more fast-paced and dynamic battle atmosphere. 


We are also considering changing the way Base of Operation, nearby Bases, and Aircraft Carriers get utilized to add a more dynamic, cooperative element to the war experience. 


[Improvement Plan #4 – Stamina]

 

It is true that it doesn’t take long to exhaust Stamina numbers, even if you have the maximum amount. It can become quite a burden for active Admirals as the cost of recharging Stamina was constantly increasing and the rate of usage isn’t what we’d consider competitively efficient.  

 

To better facilitate the use of Stamina, we will be improving various aspects such as the recharge speed, total capacity, and general Stamina costs. These changes will be made to alleviate the burden on our players and provide a more satisfying game experience.

 

We have also confirmed an anomaly where the cost of Stamina is reset upon watching an ad. The fix will also be applied. 

 

This list of changes is huge, daunting… but we’re up for the challenge. We would like to ask for your patience and understanding as we develop these improvements and do all we can to provide the best gaming environment possible for our Admirals. 


We will always do our best to clearly communicate with our Admirals who support and love Gunship Battle: Total Warfare. We will continue to share the details of our development plans, small or big when making Gunship Battle: Total Warfare better for our Admirals, so please continue sending your suggestions and feedback. We will try our best to reflect all of our Admirals’ voices to the game as much as possible.
