Hello, Admirals.

We would like to provide an update on the investigation pertaining to the circumstances surrounding the unintended design utilization of the Blitz Defense feature.
The investigation is ongoing, but we will continue to communicate our findings and actions taken throughout the process.
 
We do believe that intentional usage of the [Armada Blitz Defense Cooldown Time Reset] item, which was distributed on 3/16 PDT (3/17 UTC), had a significant impact. With that in mind, we have narrowed our investigation parameters, focusing on the Alliance Leaders who had clearly demonstrated to use said Reset items in excess/correlation with the circumstances apparent. 

A strong exception is extended to those Alliances that evidently demonstrated to have used the [Armada Blitz Defense Cooldown Time Reset] within the intended design parameters.
Only the Alliance(s)/Admiral(s), who clearly demonstrated the intent to repeatedly exploit the Blitz Defense encounters to illegitimately obtain Blitz Defense rewards; doing so by exacting/reproducing run patterns, specifically joining different Alliances to do so.   

Those Alliances that have any unused [Armada Blitz Defense Cooldown Time Reset] items (those distributed on 3/16 PDT (3/17 UTC)) will have those items exchanged for individual reward items. Those rewards will be based on relevant, obtainable Blitz Defense rewards.

We would like to directly apologize to all of our Admirals about the trouble the Blitz issues have caused. Our failure to properly anticipate and accommodate for the myriad of variables/situations in advance contributed to the adverse impact that situations like this have… not only to our community, but to the trust our community has in our ability to adequately develop and maintain content that you all enjoy.

Going forward, we will do our best to consider all relevant aspects, this not only includes reward distribution, but taking into account the outcome of the numerous ways that play-meta can impact intended gameplay and the expectations of our Admirals - intended, implied or otherwise.

-Targeted Period:
After the distribution of the [Armada Blitz Defense Cooldown Time Reset] item on 3/16 PDT (3/17 UTC) ~ until on 3/21, at 05:00 PDT (12:00 UTC).

[Atypical Blitz Defense scenario]

- Though some Alliances may have properly demonstrated to have used the [Armada Blitz Defense Cooldown Time Reset] items within the intended design parameters, Alliances that have Admirals that have any recent transfer history will be subject to investigation.

- All data and logs related to Blitz Defense for both (relevant) Alliances and their incumbent Member play-history will be examined in the investigation process.

- There are a number of factors that will directly impact the outcome, such as abnormal Alliance creation date(s), Alliance Admiral creation patterns, network usage, and transfer records that include other Alliances.

* The Alliance names noted on the chart below are fictitious (randomly generated) and used for the purpose of demonstrating our review setting, and the numbers reflected in the adjacent column do not reflect abnormal game usage or patterns.

*The Alliance, noted to have not used the Cooldown Time Reset item on 3/16 PDT (3/17 UTC) ~ until on 3/21, at 05:00 PDT (12:00 UTC), is part of the investigation by way of direct association.​
